Free Storage Heaters – New for Old

The Affordable Warmth Scheme was introduced to reduce the heating bills of homes by replacing old inefficient electric storage heaters with new modern, energy efficient storage heaters.

The scheme is based strictly on replacing inefficient electric storage heaters with their modern equivalents.

Modern storage heaters have heat boost and fans, they are also much better at storing the heat and letting it out. All at a much reduced running cost

How are Free Storage Heaters Grants calculated?

The amount of your storage heater grant is based on the type and size of your home, how many bedrooms you have, how many external walls it has and several other factors.

We will be able to advise you on this without any cost to yourself.

Schemes are running all over the country, we will be able to place you on the correct scheme based on your own circumstances

Most of the time we will be able to assess if we can help you without having to visit your home.

 

If we can help you, a free home survey has to be carried out to apply for the grant. You can withdraw your application at any time without incurring any cost
